A More Comfortable Pediatric Visit for Every Child
KidMed is the Mississippi Gulf Coast’s first sensory-inclusive pediatric urgent care, created to make medical visits feel more manageable for children who may be sensitive to sounds, textures, bright lights, crowded spaces or unfamiliar environments.
For children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, anxiety—or any child who benefits from calmer support—an urgent care visit can feel overwhelming. KidMed offers sensory bags, sensory-equipped rooms, noise-reducing headphones, fidget tools and mobile sensory stations to support a more comfortable experience.
Every child is different. Parents are encouraged to tell our team about their child’s preferences, sensitivities, communication needs or calming strategies so we can respond with patience, flexibility and compassion.
